Dee Dee Aun (Momotara)
The Craft Kingdom of Sampheng
For craft enthusiasts who love sewing, embroidery, and DIY projects, it’s almost a rite of passage to stand in awe at Momotara—scanning through endless rows of fabric tapes, lace trims, yarn, and every imaginable trimming until your legs ache. The sheer variety and charm of every design make it almost impossible to leave empty-handed!
Before diving into the world of delightful craft trims, this store started as an importer of sewing machines. In 1966, it expanded into importing Japanese silk weaving machines from Taiwan, introducing products like tassel fringes, braided cords, patterned ribbons, pleated ribbons, lace trims, and more under the Momotara brand. The brand quickly became a market leader, with Dee Dee Aun in Sampheng serving as its main retail and wholesale outlet.

In recent years, the second-generation owners have doubled down on the craft market, transitioning from selling bulk spools of trims to offering mini packs that cater to individual crafters. This shift has only made it harder to resist spending hours browsing through their charming selections!
Since 1966, this leading embroidery supply store has offered a vast selection of items,
from elegant lace trims to charming printed ribbons—each piece is irresistibly delightful!
