Once home to \u201c9 rice mills, 9 fermented soybean factories, and 9 shipyards,\u201d only Hau Yong Seng\u2019s factory remains. For over 100 years, it has preserved traditional methods, from fermenting soybeans in clay jars to sun-drying for over six months before cooking over wood fire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the 4th generation manages the factory, transforming part of it into a charming caf\u00e9 while incorporating soy sauce into creative recipes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
